Our Sessions
We offer a wide range of sessions to suit all abilities and levels of experience. We aim to create a friendly, secure, encouraging and challenging environment. See below for details on each of the sessions we offer. If you have any questions, please see our FAQs on the 'About Us' page.

Wingz BMX
These sessions welcome riders with a wide range of disabilities. These sessions are relaxed and slow-paced, allowing participants ample time to master each step before moving on. The primary goal is to ensure that riders enjoy cycling in a way that makes them feel comfortable and at ease.
Entry-Level Cycle Skills (Off-Track)
Our cycle skills session caters to riders who have recently learned to ride and want to take their first steps into the world of BMX racing. The sessions are designed to be slow paced, encouraging and informative. During sessions, we will cover the ready position (basic riding position), starting and stopping, braking control, and basic bike handling. These skills will be worked into a variety of games and activities to give riders the ability to tackle the BMX track.

Beginners BMX
This session caters to riders who are new to BMX or who want to gain confidence and skill around the track. They are designed to be engaging, enjoyable and challenging. We will cover the ready position (how and why it is used), front wheel and back wheel lifts, pumping, basic cornering. These skills are laid out in a way that allows riders to push themselves within a safe and controlled environment, gearing them up for the next level.
Intermediate BMX
These sessions cater to riders who are already experienced in track riding and who have a good understanding of all the basic skills. During these sessions, we begin to look at the rider as an individual, helping them to identify strengths and weaknesses in their riding and how best to improve. We will cover jumping, manuals, wheelies, advanced cornering and flat skills. Challenging the rider to understand where they see themselves taking their riding, whether that be racing or mastering their local track.

Expert BMX
These sessions cater to riders who are racing or riding towards at least regional level. We push riders to find their limit, learning how to be dedicated, focused and on the path to becoming an athlete by addressing the finer details to give riders the best chance of success when they are competing. We will cover sprints, racing lines, gate starts, targeted skills on track and on flat. These allow the rider to develop a solid skillset across all aspects of BMX racing.
One-to-One BMX
Our individual sessions are with a qualified coach and are designed to suit your individual needs based on your ability and goals. Zahir Walsh, our coach, will assess the rider’s skills and design a program to meet their needs. For more details, or to request an individual session, please contact info@harrowbikeclub.co.uk
